I had the pleasure of engaging a long term, four week, assignment with IBM for the whole month located just outside the Heathrow airport. The classes and participants were great and I met some fine people. It rained only one day the whole time I was there.
The pictures are of street scenes, visit to Richmond on Thames and my day long visit to Kew Gardens.
I got to go back to London for another four week engagement for IBM and this time got to stay and work in town. Cool, very cool.
There's one picture that appears to be nothing but white paint but what that turns out to be is a picture from the garden wall outside the Beatle's Abbey Road music studio. I would pass the wall every day on the bus and could not figure out why there were always so many people around taking pictures. Then on my first Saturday, I walked to the building to discover what it was. Turns out there were Beatle's pictures in the hallway at the hotel where I stayed but could not make the connection until I was actually there. So anyway, the day I went was also the day the after they had painted over all the graffiti that people post while visiting. By the end of the third week, the wall was completely covered with graffiti again. Cool...
There's one picture when I went to see the play Wicked. I loved it so much.
